CVD can manifest anywhere from simple fatigue and spider veins to skin changes and limb-threatening ulcerations. Whether you want to improve the appearance of your legs, have more energy, or heal a leg ulcer, our procedures can help.
Your First Visit
Your initial visit will take about 2 hours and includes a thorough examination and an ultrasound evaluation of your leg veins. This ultrasound identifies and maps vein issues, allowing us to create a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Conservative Measures
If not already tried, the first step is a trial of conservative treatments like leg elevation, exercise, weight loss, and compression stockings. While these methods can ease symptoms and slow progression, they cannot repair damaged vein valves.
Some patients find sufficient relief with conservative measures and continue using them. However, others experience only partial or temporary relief, or cannot tolerate them. These individuals may benefit from more definitive treatments for chronic venous disease (CVD).
Varithena is an FDA-approved, minimally invasive non-thermal treatment for varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). The Varinthena procedure involves injection of a specialized foam into the abnormal veins, causing them to collapse and close. This treatment helps to reroute blood flow to healthier veins, alleviating symptoms and improving vein health.
The Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) procedure uses targeted radiofrequency energy to heat and seal veins, treating venous disease effectively. This minimally invasive method reduces discomfort and downtime, offering a safe and proven solution for improving blood flow.
Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT), is a minimally invasive procedure performed in our office to treat venous disease. This method uses laser energy to close problematic veins, improving circulation with minimal discomfort and quick recovery.
Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure performed in our office to treat venous disease. It’s also known as chemical ablation and can be performed alone or at the same time as a thermal ablation (RFA or EVLT).
Visual Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure performed in our office to treat visible veins, including spider veins and some larger veins. It is typically scheduled after treating underlying vein issues. The procedure involves injecting a solution into the veins, causing them to collapse and gradually fade.
The VeinGogh procedure uses microburst technology to deliver precise, high-frequency energy that collapses spider veins and small vascular lesions. VeinGogh is primarily used to treat facial veins and small superficial veins. This minimally invasive treatment provides immediate improvement in skin appearance with little to no downtime, offering a fast, effective solution for clearer, healthier-looking skin.
The VenaSeal™ closure system is the only procedure that uses a proprietary medical adhesive to close veins without tumescent, thermal, or sclerosant methods. This innovative approach eliminates the risk of nerve injury when treating the small saphenous vein, a potential issue with some thermal procedures.
If you’re struggling with vein-related issues, our team is here to help. Our modern, minimally invasive treatments offer lasting relief with minimal disruption to your life.
