Ambulatory Microphlebectomy

Ambulatory Microphlebectomy is a safe and effective outpatient procedure, performed under local anesthesia, which is used in conjunction with thermal and chemical ablation procedures to treat prominent varicose veins. Using very small incisions, which will close without suturing, the physician will pull the veins out using a surgical hook. After the procedure is completed, a dressing will be applied to the incisions before fitting your leg with a compression stocking.
