1. How do I get the process started?
Getting relief begins when you decide to take the first step. And fortunately, that first step is a simple one. Pick up the phone and call (972) 378-5347 or fill out our online form at the right of this page for Insurance Information. Our trained and experienced staff will guide you through the entire process.
Most insurance companies require a trial of conservative therapy, documented by your treating physician, that includes medical grade compression stockings for 6 weeks to 6 months. The sooner this requirement is met, the sooner treatment can begin.
2. Free Leg Health Screening vs. Full Consultation
We offer Free Leg Health Screenings for people who are not sure if they have vein disease. If you have just a few visible spider veins, the Free Leg Health Screening is for you. But if you have large bulging varicose veins, pain and or tenderness, leg swelling or skin discoloration, you will need a full consultation for us to accurately understand the extent of your vein problems.
3. Will insurance help with the cost?
In most cases insurance and medicare will cover treatment of vein problems including endovenous ablation, phlebectomy (vein removal) and some injections. Out of pocket expense depends on many factors, such as deductible met and the specifics of the individual plan. Our staff will work with you to understand the benefits and coverage provided by your insurance as well as any requirements that will need to be met.
4. Insurance Information – What Plans do we accept?
We accept all major insurance plans and medicare, including BCBS, AETNA, UNITED, HUMANA, CIGNA, GREAT WEST, as well as many others. We do not accept Medicaid or workers comp.
5. Are there payment plans available?
Yes, we will work with each patient on a case by case basis to help determine what works best for you.
6. Do I need a referral?
Many plans do not require a referral. We are happy to facilitate that process if necessary. Now that some of the mystery has been resolved, you can feel confident knowing that most insurance and medicare will help cover your treatment and payment plans are available. Don’t spend another day wishing for pain-free, healthy legs. Relief is just an appointment away.
